Florida Police Officer, Dwayne White, ended up on the other side of the law the other night after being arrested for selling opiods out of his squad car while on duty. White, who was normally the one busting the drug dealers, in turn became one.
The Florida Department of Law Enforcement found that White was using his personal cell phone to make deals while having buyers meet him at his squad car. Agents were then able to make a controlled purchase of opioid tablets from White and found that yes, he was selling drugs; yes, out of his patrol car; and yes, he was in uniform.
Dwayne White was charged with selling a controlled substance and unlawful use of a two-way communication device. He is now in jail and has not commented on the situation.
