This is what could be the end of an era! Monday afternoon, the world famous pancake house, IHOP, announced a change that could forever impact their company. IHOP told the world via Twitter that their franchise and all the restaurants will be named IHOB.
This change comes after 60 years of flippin' pancakes. A spokesperson for the restaurant did say they will not be removing pancakes from their menu, just removing the "P" from the name.
IHOP's Executive Director of Communications shared this quote regarding the update,
"We're serious about the quality of food and our menu, and this name change really reflects that."

The restaurant also shared that they will be announcing what the "B" stands for on June 11, 2018. Fans are guessing "breakfast", but "bacon" and "biscuits" are also in the running. The restaurant even tweeted out this poll for fans to take casting their vote on what they think the "B" is for. What do you think it stands for?
