Mom Finds Blake Shelton's Name In Her Daughter's Textbook

For this young girl named Marley in Ada, Oklahoma, she had a once in a lifetime experience when she signed out a textbook for class and found this name inside it! 

"Blake Shelton - 1982"

Marley's mother, Shelly Parker, took to Facebook to share her daughters findings. Despite how cool this may be and how excited her daughter was, Parker thinks the real issue here is how old the textbooks are that children today are still using! Parker shares that she was embarrassed her daughter's school couldn't afford new books and has now rallied with parents and teachers to fight for education funding.

Parker and many other parents think it isn't right that their children are using the same books that the parents used when they were in school. She shares in the post that she is 40 and Blake Shelton is 41. It's time for new books! Teachers across the state are continuing to protest at the Capitol over low education funding and teacher pay.  What do you have to say about this finding? Super cool or super embarrassing?
