The theme song for all the latest sporting events including Super Bowl LII and XXIII Winter Games is Miss Carrie Underwood's AMAZING single, "The Champion".
Premiering during this year's Super Bowl, "The Champion" quickly became America's new favorite song empowering athletes and individuals all across the country. With the video finally be released, we learn that this track is so much more than a feel good song and has a much stronger universal message behind it.
The video was directed by Jimmy Lynch and is a collective montage of notable sports images not limited to just Football, but the Olympics, NASCAR racing, and the NHL Nashville Predators.
(If you didn't know, Carrie Underwood's husband, Mike Fisher, plays for the Predators and we thought it was a nice touch that she included him in this).
The video and the song also are related to the life of a musician and the fight they go through to make it. Lynch included moments from Carrie's own life such as her childhood aspiring to be a performer and her currently in the recording studio.
"They knock me down, I get up again."
In addition to this, the video highlights triumph of those in the Special Olympics, those involved in the Civil Rights Movement, and those who ran into danger during the World Trade Center attack.
Carrie Underwood once again blows us away with another amazing single and music video and continues to empower fans each and every day. We can't wait to see what this Superstar does next to top this!
