Parents are Hiring 'Intimidating Uncles' to Protect Kids from Bullies

There is a new anti-bullying service being offered in South Korea. It's called the "Uncle Service" where parents can hire intimidating guys to pose as uncles for their kids to protect them for bullies.

The service allows parents to chose from three packages.

  1. Evidence Package: the fake uncle secretly films the kid getting bullied and turns the tapes into the school to make them do something. Cost is $350/a day
  2. Uncle Package: the guy walks a kid to and from school and gives a "stern warning" to the bullies. Cost is $440/a day
  3. Chaperone Package: the fake uncle goes to wherever the bully's parents work, confronts them and protests in front of their building publicly shaming them. Cost is $1,770/for four visits

Do you think this is a service that should be brought to the United States? Let us know on our Facebook page.
