96-Year-Old WWII Veteran Plays Chilling National Anthem On Harmonica

96-Year-Old World War II Veteran Pete DuPre' reminded everyone what Memorial Day is really about when he took to the field before the U.S. Soccer Women's National Team exhibition match against Mexico in New Jersey on Sunday and played our National Anthem on harmonica. His nickname is "Harmonica Pete" and the USWNT team said in a tweet that they met him when they "Visited Normandy in January."

Not only was the crowd of over 26,000 awed by Pete's rendition of The Star Spangled banner, but social media blew up!

But this isn't Pete's first rodeo in the spotlight. He has also performed "God Bless America" and "American The Beautiful" at many sporting events in Rochester, near his home town of Fairport. He has thrown our the first pitch at a Washington Nationals Game in the past and even received a shout out from President Donald Trump at the 100th anniversary of the end of WW I in France in 2018.
