Airport Puts Up Christmas Tree Made Only Of Items Security Confiscated

What a dangerous Christmas Tree this is.

You got to love the creativeness of officials at a Lithuanian airport after they opted to show their festive holiday spirit by putting up a Christmas tree. Only their tree is decorated with some really unusual items. The massive tree is made up entirely of items confiscated from travelers.

The base of the tree at Vilnius Airport is made from scissors, while the trunk is decorated with a fake gun, bullets, and brass knuckles. They topped it off with a star made of blades.

They are hoping to use it as an educational tool for holiday travelers.

“With knives, scissors, lighters, blades and all other sorts of dangerous goods on it — this Christmas tree has it all,” Lithuanian Airports said in a post.

“So if you don’t want your personal, yet prohibited, belongings to land on our next year’s Christmas tree, better check out the baggage requirements before you pack for your next flight,” the post said. “Safe travels!”
