Kane Brown Honors Military Families in Emotional 'Homesick' Video

Warning: This music video will make you cry.

On a personal level, Kane Brown's latest single, "Homesick," is a song about missing his fiancee Katelyn Jae while he's on the road, but there's a deeper, more universal meaning that the rising country star profoundly portrays in the track's music video.

The 24-year-old had the opportunity to perform for the California Army National Guard, and spliced footage from that with fan-submitted videos of military members surprising their loved ones upon returning home from service.

From a father emotionally meeting his infant child for the first time after serving overseas to a basketball player moved to tears when he sees his soldier brother standing courtside, the clips are truly moving and will probably make you feel a little verklempt. It definitely had that effect on us.

Brown co-wrote "Homesick" with Matt McGinn, Taylor Phillips and Brock Berryhill. It will be featured on his sophomore album Experiment, along with the previously released singles "Lose It" and "Weekend." The album is slated for a November 9 release.

Early next year, the country crooner embarks on his first ever headlining arena tour with full tour support from Granger Smith, and RaelynnDanielle Bradbery and Jimmie Allen playing select dates.
