Frankie Ballard says his "heart is overflowing" with happiness over his first number one hit.
The country star's latest single "Helluva Life," has topped both the Mediabase/Country Aircheck and the Billboard Country Airplay chart. The song is also Frankie's fastest rising single of his career, and is approaching the 400,000 mark in digital sales.
"Helluva Life" is the lead-off single from Ballard's second studio album, Sunshine & Whiskey. The singer will perform the song as a guest on NBC's "Today" on April 2nd.
And now Frankie needs to make an appointment with his tailor. He recently told "Country Weekly" if "Helluva Life" went to number one he would celebrate by buying "a full-on Manuel suit," because he thought it would be "cool" to commemorate his first number one country hit with "something so country."
